Whiskers & Tales: Mardi Gras 2024

Whiskers & Tales, our signature event, is held each year to celebrate the success stories of the thousands of cats and dogs we rescue every year. This event lets us cut loose while also helping us fundraise and support our financial needs to continue our vital mission to save animals from imminent danger and find them loving, forever homes.

This year, we have chosen to celebrate Mardi Gras with our friends and supporters, bringing New Orleans right here to Ohio! Join us on Saturday, February 10, 2024. The evening will feature a creole inspired dinner, open bar, live music by Danjo Jazz Orchestra, a live auction, silent auction, wine pull, and additional fun games throughout the night. Dress in your Mardi Gras themed best.

ABOUT ONE OF A KIND PET RESCUE

For eighteen years, One of A Kind Pet Rescue has made a significant impact in the state of Ohio, as well as West Virginia and Kentucky, as one of the largest rescues in the area. This past year has been especially difficult, as the homeless pet population has been worse than it has been in a decade. We continue to SAVE. HEAL. ADOPT out companion animals, and we found loving homes for over 5,000 cats and dogs in 2023! Our clinic has performed over 6,000 surgeries in 2023 and continues to improve with technology.

We remain committed to our mission to Save. Heal. Adopt. cats and dogs in our community until we reach the ultimate milestone of EVERY companion animal having a safe, loving home.
